This workshop will be held on Sunday, April 19th from 1:00-4:00 p.m. The workshop explores the classic text, The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, which forms the bedrock of the Classical Yoga philosophical system.

Classical Yoga is a method for living life in a lore joyful and graceful way; you will learn practical methods for navigating the challenges of life and to alleviate suffering for ourselves and others. The system has survived for hundreds of years because it is not tied to any religion or world teacher, yet it can be practiced in tandem with a religion, depending on the choices and preferences of the practitioner. We will specifically looks at chapters 1 and 2 of the Sutras. If you have a copy of any translation of the text, please bring that with you to the workshop. There are also free translations readily available online.
