Embodied Resilience- Thursdays at 11:00 a.m.: This one hour movement class will emphasize the cultivation of sensitivity. The movements are very simple and somewhat similar to movements you might find in Tai Chi. They are easily accessed and repetitive. The purpose of this approach is to facilitate sensation at as subtle a level as possible while employing the muscular body in a refined way. If you want a very gentle class or if you’ve tried yoga in the past and found it inaccessible, this is the class for you. This approach has the intent of deepening one’s sense of security and peacefulness in a very uncertain time.

Dynamic Yoga- Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m.: This one hour yoga class will include mild vinyasas, or sequential movements linked with the breath, interspersed with classical yoga poses that will be held for several breaths. There will be standing and, seated poses and finishing with some gentle poses. If you’ve taken yoga before you’ll recognize many of the poses, however there will be an emphasis on cultivating sensitivity to enhance the experience of yoga and to prevent injury.
