I attended college at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, where I received my B.S. in Criminology, Law and Society. I was introduced to yoga for the first time in college when I took a beginner’s class as an elective credit. Little did I know, that was the initiation of something that would transform my life in new and exciting ways. I immediately fell in love with the way yoga challenged me. I have been an athlete my entire life, but yoga opened new doors for me by providing a space that not only allowed me to strengthen my body, but also my mind. When I heard that Phoenix was offering a teaching certification course, I knew that it was an opportunity that was calling out to me to take my practice deeper. In July of 2020, I obtained my 200-Hour Teaching Certification. I am very excited to step out from behind the office desk of my day-job and tap into my creative/visionary side. I look forward to embarking on my teaching journey with you and continuing to grow together.
