I have a Masters degree in Health Sciences from JMU and have worked in the wellness field for 25 years. In 2004, I obtained a 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification at Charlotte Yoga. I taught at YMCAs, community colleges and private studios over the years. My yoga is a blend of power vinyasa, mixed with several alignment cues and long stretches. I am a life long lover of the human body. It is fascinating to see it change as we age…taking it all in stride. Besides yoga, I enjoy biking with my husband and spending time with my grown daughters and beloved dog Cooper.
